At first I thought this would be easy but when you analyzing the large book’s pages some pages stick out a little more and are a little more thicker and it’s very distracting. The information that is helpful is knowing how many pages are in the small book. Another way she could have made the problem a little more difficult is by giving us how many inches the small book was and then we would of had to figure out how many inches the larger book was. My estimation is 800 pages and I am pretty sure this is correct because I just looked at the size of the smaller book and multiplied it by how many I thought would fit in the larger book.

When I first saw the problem I didn’t think it was to original because a lot of dentist and different organization do this as a guessing game. Letting us know that the jelly bean was 3/4 long is helpful but 3/4 what?Instead of giving us the oz. maybe give us the height and width of the jar. My estimation is 2300 and I am not too confident in my answer I am unsure if I went about the right way.

Very clever instead of giving us the oz and the price she made you compare to the second cup. How much it is per ounce and the oz total of the first one and the price total of the second one. I think she gave us enough info if she gave us more it would of been too easy. My estimation is 12.22 oz and I am confident in my answer because I believe I multiplied correctly and it seems reasonable.

This problem seemed very originally! It looks somewhat tricky but with enough effort anyone can figure it out. The information that is given is how much sodium is in the can, and if someone was drinking it that had a 2,000 calorie diet. I think he gave just enough information to figure it out and if he gave more it would of been too easy. My estimation 4.5% is and I not too confident in it because I’m not sure if multiplied a wrong number.

This problem looked very tricky and original! Helpful information that was giving was seeing the picture compared to the wall. It would of been more helpful to be given the height and length of both the wall and light switch. My estimation is 96 and I am not sure if it is correct because there were no measurements given. My way of figuring it out was putting the light switch in the picture frame and seeing how many fitted in there and then figured out how many picture frames could fit on the wall.
